A Refined Heritage of Tradition and Innovation
Lanson traces its origins to 1760, when François Delamotte began creating and selling his own Champagne. By 1786, he had partnered with Jean-Baptiste Lanson, and in 1856 the Lanson family assumed full control, establishing Lanson Père & Fils. Over the centuries, the House has upheld its commitment to fine winemaking, meticulous craftsmanship, and a distinctively fresh style.
Renowned for lively, uplifting Champagnes, Lanson is celebrated for its vibrant acidity and delicate fruit expressions. This hallmark freshness stems from the House’s traditional approach, which avoids malolactic fermentation—safeguarding crisp citrus notes and invigorating minerality that define the Lanson style.
Displaying a brilliant straw hue with hints of amber, Lanson le Black Creation NV greets the eye with a fine stream of persistent bubbles. The nose reveals springtime blossoms, subtle toast, and bright fruit. On the palate, it combines energetic acidity with elegant balance, culminating in a clean, lasting finish.
Delicately salmon-hued, Lanson le Rosé Creation NV expresses floral aromas and layered red fruit on the nose. A gentle acidity and smooth texture give way to a rounded finish, making this rosé both versatile and refined. It pairs superbly with a variety of dishes, from light appetisers to fruit-based desserts.
A softer, off-dry Champagne, White Label retains Lanson’s renowned zesty character while introducing a subtle sweetness. This approachable style suits a wide range of palates, and the wine also lends itself to creative experimentation—many enthusiasts enjoy adding fruit infusions to enhance its aromatic profile.
For its vintage releases, Lanson sources Chardonnay and Pinot Noir from prestigious Grand Cru vineyards. The result is a pale gold Champagne with delicate bubbles. Notes of dried and candied fruits, grilled almonds, apricots, figs, and mandarin provide complexity, while a textured palate leads into lingering tangy nuances on the finish.
Reflecting Lanson’s dedication to sustainability, le Green Bio Organic marries centuries-old craftsmanship with modern eco-conscious principles. Made from organically grown grapes, this cuvée showcases the House’s ability to innovate without compromising on quality or flavour depth.
Uniting tradition with forward-thinking vision, Lanson remains a beacon of refined taste and artistry in the Champagne world. From the crisp vibrancy of le Black Creation NV to the groundbreaking le Green Bio Organic, each bottle illustrates a House devoted to elegance, diversity, and innovation.
